The sixties greeted the Howard University student with a warm welcome to
the music industry. Leace quickly emerged as "Washington 's Favorite Folk Singer." Donal recorded his first album "At The Shadows" with Carol Hedine. His second recording was "Donal Leace At The Cellar Door." It was in 1966 Donal "lost the D" at the end of his name.
